Having spoken at the Turing Festival in 2015 and 2016, I’m now delighted to be working with the team to take the 2017 event to new heights! The festival covers two key areas – marketing and product, and attracts the best speaker lineup in the UK, with many international heavy-hitters taking to the stage.
I’m working on a growth strategy and assisting with the delivery of it – don’t hang about if you want to go, 2017 will be the fastest-selling yet!

Float, the Edinburgh based cash flow forecasting tool approached me with a very clear objective – come up with a strategy that will allow us to quickly implement paid social media advertising activity in a highly targeted, efficient and measured way.

I launched Cheeky Chompers to parents across the world via social media and managed an engaging and valuable social media presence that created brand affinity, engagement and strong levels of product sales.

We created a social media strategy with a focus on increasing brand awareness and communicating their incredible charity programme. Secondary to the strategy is the retention of current lottery players and the generation of new players.
A key factor in this strategy was the implementation of a rigorous system for social media analysis and measurement. The strategy was delivered in May 2015 and will be rolling out over the coming 12 months.Visit client's site

We delivered a social media strategy to McIntosh Foods in June 2015. McIntosh Foods is aa hugely popular Scottish foods producer, with their products sold in all major supermarket chains.
The strategy was brand-led, tapping into the fantastic sentiment among customers and enables McIntosh to push their product reach and awareness via organic and paid social media activity. The strategy will be rolled out over the coming year, although Velocity Digital will not be handling the delivery.

Sector – Tourism
We currently manage all social media activity for Mercat Tours, Edinburgh’s premier tour company. The first stage of this project was to create a strategy with the aim of achieving stand-out from competitors, building an engaged and relevant audience and driving tour ticket sales. Key to this was ensuring a strong system for measurement and analysis was created.
We’re now six months in to our relationship with Mercat Tours and look forward continuing to work with this excellent tourism business.

We launched The Data Lab’s Twitter and LinkedIn presences, growing a highly relevant audience via SocialBro segmentation. The platforms were maintained with curated content in order to create a filtered resource tailored to the audience profile. Project was completed in April 2015.

We held a number of consultation sessions with the founder of NeurocentRX in order to establish the optimal digital marketing route for the launch of their palliative care pain drugs.
